Man arrested after authorities find more than a pound of meth, cash in home

Authorities arrested a man after serving a search warrant in Jefferson City on Thursday, June 3.
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
A man is in custody after law enforcement found drugs, money and a gun while serving a search warrant.
The Cole County Sheriff's Department, Mustang Drug Task Force and the Jefferson City Police SWAT team served the warrant Thursday. The warrant was served at a home in the 600 block of Michigan Street in Jefferson City.
According to a press release, investigators found more than 1.25 pounds of methamphetamine, which has a street value of $57,000. They also found drug paraphernalia, drug packaging, digital scales, over $39,000 and a shotgun.
