Man accused of murdering PCSO Julia James to stand trial in November
Maidstone Crown Court heard that Julia James died as the result of an "extremely violent and apparently random" attack.
Julia James was found dead next to woods near her home on April 27
The man accused of killing PCSO Julia James is expected to stand trial in November.
Callum Wheeler, 21, appeared at Maidstone Crown Court, Kent, via video link with London's Belmarsh Prison, having been charged with murder on Monday.
Wearing a grey T-shirt and trousers with black mask, he simply replied 'Yeah' when asked to confirm his name during the hearing in front of Judge Philip Statman.
