GHAZIABAD: Police on Monday claimed to have solved the murder of one Rishi Chaudhary, who was shot dead at his house in Ghaziabad’s Muradnagar area on July 14. The cops arrested a man on Monday afternoon after a brief gunfight.
According to the police, the arrested accused was identified as Ankit. Meanwhile, two of his associates — Monu and Guddu — managed to flee. Dr Iraj Raja, SP (rural), said that the accused had some property dispute with Chaudhary. “During questioning, Ankit said that a day before killing Chaudhary, he and some of his associates robbed a person of his bike in the Muradnagar area. They then planned to go to Chaudhary’s house and kill him,” he said.
