KOLKATA: Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee after coming to power for the third time in a row attributed her victory as the victory of the people of Bengal and victory of democracy. She said that she would hold the victory rally later, as handling the Covid19 situation was a priority.
Thanking her supporters she urged them not to take out victory procession due to the pandemic, rather stand by the people who are affected by the pandemic.
“I had made a target of 221. It is my double century. Though Narendra Modi had pleaded for a double engine government in Bengal, it was a massive defeat for BJP. They should not show their face to the people, “the CM said.
