Malvern's platinum couple Roy and Eve Harris mark 70 happy years together

A MALVERN couple have been celebrating that rare milestone in weddings – their platinum anniversary.
Roy and Eve Harris were married on March 31 1951 and have just marked 70 years together in the town where they have spent all their married life.
Roy, 92, was born in June 1928 at West Hills Bromyard while his wife-to-be, four years his junior, was born in Overbury in July 1932 and lived in Kemerton.
Son Kevin takes up the story. “The family worked on a farm, Holland and Martins, near Tewksbury, before mum’s family moved to Beauchamp Road in Malvern Link and my dad’s family moved to Quest Hills Road, also in the Link.
