Malaysia recently reached a new milestone with 117,563 doses of vaccine jabs administered in a single day – the highest number since the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) was implemented 100 days ago.
However, this has yet to meet the target of 150,000 vaccine shots per day in June before increasing it to 200,000 shots by July.
In a speech made today (5 June) in connection to the development of PICK, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin ensures no one will be left behind in the vaccination programme and the government has launched mobile vaccination centres for the convenience of people living in kampungs, Orang Asli, persons with disability (OKU), the elderly and others.
