Sounds of explosions and glass breaking
A video uploaded onto Facebook showed the blaze smouldering in an ominous fashion, with at least four firefighters on scene.
In other videos sent by a
Mothership reader, the sound of explosions and glass breaking could also be heard from the fire, which appeared to engulf the roof of the building.
SCDF responds
According to a Facebook post by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), it was alerted to the fire at about 6:35am.
SCDF added that the fire involved the contents of a dance studio on the second floor of the premises.
