Maine State Police Log Week of July 29
ELLSWORTH — The Maine State Police handled a serious personal injury crash in Robbinston July 20 involving a motorcyclist who struck a bear.
There was no word on the condition of the motorist, James Lursen, 30, of Calais. Sgt. Dan Ryan assisted.
Arrests
Trooper Owen Reed arrested Shannon Bebout, 45, of Blue Hill on a charge of violating conditions of release by consuming alcohol July 19. Sgt. Jeff Ingemi assisted.
Trooper Jarid Leonard arrested Lindsay Swanson, 29, of Steuben on a charge of operating with a revoked license Sunday in Columbia Falls. Swanson was also summoned on a charge of drug possession. Ronald Robinson, 66, of Addison was also summoned on a charge of drug possession. Cpl. Jeff Taylor assisted.
