Maine State Police Log Week of Jan. 21
ELLSWORTH — The Maine State Police are investigating a fatal crash on Route 1 in Topsfield Jan. 14 that claimed the life of a Houlton man. 
Tyler Dwyer, 30, was deceased at the scene, police said. An unnamed passenger was injured.
Dwyer had been southbound in a 2009 Ford pickup truck, which belongs to Bushwacker and Sons Logging Inc. out of Cary, police said.
Troopers said the truck collided with a northbound 2020 Peterbilt tractor-trailer operated by Gregory Worster, 58, of Kingman.
The collision occurred in the northbound lane, authorities said. Failure to maintain the proper lane and fatigue appear to be factors in the crash, police said.
