Earlier this year, Airbnb listed a unique cabin in the woods of Springvale as its most popular vacation rental in the state of Maine.
“I think Maine has a lot of cabins. We were trying to find something that kind of set us apart from everyone else,” Purposely Lost owner Peter Valcourt said.Sign up for our Newsletters
Valcourt is creating a treehouse retreat of three cabins just a short distance from Littlefield Pond.
“By the time you're up here, you're up with the foliage and everything, so that's a nice little drop. There's some wetlands, so the frogs are going crazy at night, which is really nice,” Valcourt said.
