Maine arts projects awarded $150,000 in fed funding

Nine Maine creative economy endeavors by organizations from Portland Stage Co. Inc. to the Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts in Newcastle have been awarded $150,000 in federal funding.

Projects include the world premiere production of "The Last Ship to Proxima Centauri" by Greg Lam at Portland Stage, which will receive $10,000, according to Tuesday's announcement.
