Main Capital has acquired a majority stake in Paragin, which builds software to improve competence, knowledge and talent development for small businesses in education.
The size of the deal was not disclosed.
Following the close of the deal, the Paragin management team will remain on board.
In working together, Paragin hopes to further its organic growth within the education software market. This growth will include a buy and build strategy for acquisitions in the market.
Netherlands-based Paragin designs software that supports education and business training, career development, mobility and more.
It currently has more than 140 customers, including universities, educational publishers and commercial training and examination institutes.
