Mahuna sworn in as deputy police chief

The Hawai‘i Police Department announces that effective today, Maj. Reed K. Mahuna is permanently appointed as deputy police chief. A 25-year veteran of the department, Mahuna was named acting ceputy chief on July 1, 2023.
