Maharashtra: Police bust mattress factory using discarded masks instead of cotton

The police action against the mattress factory in Maharashtra's Jalgaon comes following a tip-off to police about the used masks being stuffed in mattresses.

Mumbai: In a major operation, the Maharashtra police have busted a factory making mattresses using discarded masks instead of using cotton or other materials. The incident has triggered health concerns after the matter came to light.
The police raided the factory in Jalgaon district and seized piles of discarded face masks. A case has been registered against the factory owner.
