Madurai couple -- Meenakshi Rakesh and Dhikshana booked a SpiceJet chartered flight from Madurai to Bengaluru and tied the knot.
They came up with this solution to avoid the COVID-19 restrictions imposed in Tamil Nadu.
Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has directed SpiceJet to lodge a complaint against those who did not abide by COVID-19 protocols.The COVID-19 pandemic has made weddings a lacklustre event due to several restrictions imposed by the state governments, but this couple from Madurai -- Meenakshi Rakesh and Dhikshana made sure that it doesn’t affect their special day. The couple decided to tie their knot on Sunday on a flight with the presence of their relatives on board.
