Madras High Court upholds conviction of 215 forest, revenue officials in 1992 Vachathi rape case

On June 20, 1992, 155 forest department personnel, 108 policemen and six revenue officials raped 18 women in Vachathi, assaulted men, and looted and destroyed the village.
