Ohau Snow Fields owner and general manager, Mike Nielson, said Ohau was on track to make its scheduled opening day on Saturday.
Neilson said snow was “building” and he was confident the field would be able to get its trails open.
Mt Dobson skifield opened on June 26 for season pass holders, with a base of 110cm, and opened to the public on Friday.
