MORGANTOWN — It was a long, hard year, 2020, but now as West Virginia University moves rapidly back to normality in a post-pandemic world, athletic director Shane Lyons has high hopes of his football program growing into a regular contender for an expanded NCAA championship playoff and of fans returning to improved facilities with no COVID-19 fear and with no stay-at-home hangover.
