Lumber production facility expansion to create 60 jobs in Walker Co.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WBRC) - A new partnership between Jasper Lumber Co. and Canadaâs Tolko Industries Ltd. at a Walker County facility through a $45 million project will create at least 60 jobs.
Gov. Kay Ivey announced the partnership on Tuesday.
The investment will triple capacity at Jasper Lumberâs existing sawmill and create additional acitivity for its subsidiary companies.
Plans call for the construction of new facilities, the installation of new machinery and increased shifting at the mill.
