Lower Gornal man assaulted police officers

Dudley Magistrates Court.
A MAN from Lower Gornal has received a 12-week suspended sentence for assaulting two police officers.
Tyler Sheil of Lake Street pleaded guilty to beating PC Potts and PC Walsh on April 12.
The 20-year-old was also ordered to pay a total of £270 in compensation and £185 in costs.
A man from Cradley Heath pleaded guilty to drug driving.
Vidal Tucker of Perry Park Road drove a black Vauxhall Corsa on Queensway, Halesowen whilst under the influence of drugs on September 16 last year.
On the same day he also drove a Vauxhall Astra on Queensway without insurance.
The 36-year-old was fined £200, disqualified from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay £135 costs.
