PETALING JAYA: National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (NCCIM) secretary-general Datuk Low Kian Chuan (
pic) has been elected as the 14th president of the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM).
Previously, he was ACCCIM’s executive adviser.
Datuk Ng Yih Pyng, who was the deputy secretary-general 2, is now the deputy president.
The election was held during ACCCIM’s 75th annual general meeting (AGM) that took place virtually on Saturday (July 24).
Low succeeded Tan Sri Ter Leong Yap whose term had expired.
Ter held the post since 2015 for two three-year terms.
Six vice-presidents and 23 national council members were also elected at the AGM.
