Love of animals helps Girl Scout strike gold
Updated Dec 13, 2020;
Molly E. Hoffenberg’s love for animals inspired her to create pet first-aid emergency care kits and an animal first-aid kit book for her Girl Scout Gold Award project. The booklet lists the items pet lovers would need to tend to basic pet injuries, and her kits were made available to her local police department’s canine unit.
The Girl Scout Gold Award recognizes girls in grades 9 through 12 who demonstrate extraordinary leadership through sustainable and measurable Take-Action projects and signifies achievement of the highest recognition for girls in Girl Scouting.
