They're also supporting Epilepsy Ireland's call for students who have seizures to be allowed resit state exams the same year
Louth County Council has backed Epilepsy Ireland's campaign to address two long standing issues that impact on people with epilepsy and their families.
Fianna Fáil councillor Conor Keelan tabled a notice of motion on the issue, which will now be sent to Health Minister Stephen Donnelly and the Chair of the Oireachtas Committee on Disability matters Deputy Michael Moynihan.
Cllr. Keelan says that the charity is campaigning to secure free travel for those with the condition, and for students who may suffer a seizure during State exams to be able to resit their exams later the same year.
