Tessa Holloway is the owner of Kidz Karousel Early Childhood Development Centers. She says her business survived over the last year, but for all centers in Louisiana to be successful, she says they must be funded better by the state for years to come.
Senate Bill 142 authored by Republican Rick Ward of Port Allen would make sure that some revenue generated by sports betting in Louisiana would go toward early childhood education. His proposal asks for up to 20%, the most ever dedicated to the state fund. Sign up for our Newsletters
