A man has been jailed after 571 cannabis plants were found growing inside his home.
Nicolas Vizzini, 31, tried to escape out of the back door of Mott Street, Loughton, after police executed a warrant on July 15, 2020.
During his attempt to flee the scene, he was arrested before he could escape.
Cannabis plants in were found in the living areas and three bedrooms, but the majority were in the basement.
Vizzini later admitted to producing cannabis when he appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on August 13.
He has now been jailed for a year and four months after appearing at court on April 14.
