Loudonville Council hears revised large vehicle parking ban

LOUDONVILLE  Village council heard the first reading of a revision to the at times controversial ordinance to prohibit parking of large vehicles for extended periods on village streets at its regular meeting Monday.
The revised ordinance was approved on the first of three required readings.
It was prompted by frequent complaints, and concerns, voiced about large vehicles, such as trailers, motor homes, campers, boats, semi-trailers, recreational vehicles and similar equipment, parked on streets and taking up so much space that two vehicles could not safely pass by each other.
