Dr. Kenneth Zoucha, director of addiction medicine at UNMC, said there are three medications usually offered to treat opioid use disorder: Methadone, Buprenorphine or Suboxone and Naltrexone or Vivitrol. "Every patient is different. So, what works for one patient may not work for another patient," Zoucha said.
