FAIR LAWN — Randy Rauco was in awe on the very first day of his new job at the Nabisco Brand Factory in 1987. He was a young man, in his 20s, and had never seen anything like it.  
The giant tower, visible from outside, where the raw materials are stored. The huge mixers that prepare batter for the molding machines. The immense ovens, the length of a football field, that send the aroma of baking cookies to surrounding neighborhoods.
