Ahead of the 8th anniversary of the Sandy Hook tragedy, the Northland Brady United Chapter and Protect Minnesota regional group hosted a virtual vigil to remember the 26 victims as well as the victims of all gun violence.
Twenty children and six adults lost their lives on December 14th, 2012 after a school shooter opened fire at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.
During the vigil, a moment of silence was held and three bells were rung in remembrance. The first bell in remembrance of the victims, the second to acknowledge the survivors forever changed by gun violence, and the third as a call to action to end gun violence.
