Local wildlife center took in 451 animals from Costa Mesa last year, got no city funding

The nonprofit Wetlands & Wildlife Care Center in Huntington Beach treats up to 7,000 wild animals each year and receives funds from the county and many cities. But Costa Mesa, despite frequent use, is a holdout.
