Non-jury accident caused power outage
COSHOCTON - A non-jury accident involving a Coshocton County resident knocked out power to several areas on Saturday.
The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office said they received a call at 2:42 a.m. about an accident in the 400 block of Clow Lane in the city. Upon arrival, deputies determined that Joshua Baisden, 38, was traveling east on Clow Lane in a 2007 Ford Edge when he went off the left side of the roadway striking a power pole. Baisden was cited for failure to control. No injuries were reported. The damage from the crash caused a power outage for several locations in the area. The city street department closed a portion of the Clow Lane between South Second and South Sixth streets. The roadway was closed for several hours until the repairs were made.
