Lane restrictions on U.S. 36 starts Monday
COSHOCTON - The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced daily lane restrictions on U.S. 36 from Ohio 93 to the Tuscarawas County line for pavement repairs starting Monday and lasting through Oct. 15. 
Educational center receives grant
ZANESVILLE - The Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center recently received a $128,367 grant from the Ohio Department of Education to expand industry recognized credential programs to high school students in the service region. 
More than 150 students will have the opportunity to earn the Elder Care Certificate. The program is designed to upgrade the skills of those working with elderly citizens through better understanding the challenges seniors face, building interpersonal tools to function as team members and gaining expertise in serving the aging population. Students who earn the certificate will be eligible for four industry-recognized credentials through the ODE. The certificate is appropriate for clinical and non-clinical career paths in the health care field.
