In North Alabama, leaders from local parties are reacting to the idea of a second impeachment.
If the House votes to impeach President Trump, he will be the first president to be impeached twice. WAAY 31 spoke with a member from both parties about the possibility of impeachment proceedings and the message they believe it's sending.
“I think the whole intent of this other than to just kind of kick him as he goes out the door is to say, ‘hey, you know, you could be a threat to us, we want to close that door permanently," said Tom Fredricks, Treasurer of Morgan County Republican Executive Committee.
