Local groups work together on food box distribution

One by one, cars pulled into the parking lot at Grace United Methodist Church to pick up boxes filled with fresh food.
Milk, cheese, potatoes, meat and other fresh foods had been packaged up, free for individuals or families in need. Throughout the month of December, hundreds of the boxes had been distributed each Friday at the Franklin church.
During a difficult time for many people, the food has served as a lifeline.
