David W. MacDonald, CFSP, CPC, CCO, of Wallingford is the
new President of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association (CFDA). He previously served as CFDA's Vice President and Secretary.

acDonald is the President of Wallingford Funeral Home at 809 North Main Street Ext. in Wallingford and Yalesville Funeral Home at 386 Main St. in Yalesville. He became a licensed funeral director/embalmer in 1999 after receiving his professional schooling from the New England Institute of Mortuary Science at Mount Ida College in Dedham, Mass. He began his funeral service career in his teens working with his uncle, David T. Warren, at Thomas E. Fitzgerald Funeral Home (established in Wallingford, Conn. in 1934) which now does business as Wallingford Funeral Home and Yalesville Funeral Home.
