Wheel Fit Co., a Cold Lake fitness facility that decided to stay open, violating the current provincial COVID-19 restrictions, had received more than 30 public health complaints, the owner Danika Chevalier was told by Alberta Health Services on late Friday afternoon.
AHS told her she needed to shut down or risk receiving a fine.

Following her phone call with AHS Friday, Chevalier told the Cold Lake Sun that she has to weigh the risks of enforcement with the benefit of keeping her cycling studio open despite public health regulations.
