Local church, senator host food distribution event in Orlando
Food giveaway feeds families in need
Families are still struggling to put food on the table. Volunteers in Orange County participated in a massive food giveaway. The drive-through food distribution was held at Live Church Orlando in partnership with Senator Randolph Bracy, D-Orlando, and Farm Share.
ORLANDO, Fla. - Food distributions across Central Florida continue to see high turnout because of the pandemic.
"I couldn’t work anymore because of my immune issues," Francisco Zevallos, of Orlando, said. "It’s great because they offer something we can’t always get and we’re short on money, so it does help us a lot."
