A local child was killed in a hunting accident Wednesday night on Prosperity Lane.
Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel says the 11-year Dayton Bryant was alone in a field near the 5400 block of Prosperity when the incident occurred.
Bryant died from a gunshot wound to the head and Daniel says preliminary investigation does not indicate foul play. The coroner’s office was notified of the death about 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, according to Daniel.
