Loan Rangers: Mide’s Oxford remain in promotion hunt

MIDE Shodipo featured in both of Oxford United’s fixtures last week as they recorded two more wins in their latest quest for promotion from League One.
The winger – who has already hit 10 goals for Karl Robinson’s men this term – played 59 minutes as the U’s saw off Bristol Rovers 2-0 at the Memorial Stadium last Tuesday, prior to his 68th-minute introduction as Oxford enjoyed a 2-1 success over Wigan Athletic on home soil on Saturday.
Across the city, Aaron Drewe’s Oxford City hit four goals twice last week on their way to separate comprehensive successes over Hungerford Town (4-0, Tuesday) and Chelmsford City (4-1, Saturday). Drewe played the full 90 minutes in both games.
