LIVE: A55 crash shuts Conwy tunnel causing huge queues to build
Drivers are being warned to expect delays
A crash on the A55 has shut the Conwy tunnel in one direction.
The collision on the westbound carriageway has caused lengthy delays stretching back to the Black Cat roundabout.
The delays are understood to be connected to a collision at Junction 16 the Puffin roundabout.
Traffic Wales tweeted: "We are currently batching traffic through Conwy Tunnel to assist with standing traffic and congestion.
"Please remain patient. 50mph speed restrictions remain in place at Conwy Tunnel and Penmaenbach."
