Linde has been awarded a bronze medal in The Sustainability Yearbook 2021, a global database on corporate sustainability, published by S&P Global.
In addition to the bronze award, the industrial gas giant was also ranked as one of the leading companies in the global chemical sector.
“In 2020, we made tangible progress against our climate targets,” said Riva Krut, Vice-President and Chief Sustainability Officer at Linde.
“Sustainability is firmly embedded in our business and we are honoured by this recognition from S&P Global.”
Linde recently announced it had reduced its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions intensity by 16% at the end of 2020, compared to 2018, making it on track to achieve its target of lowering greenhouse gas emissions intensity by 35% in 2028.
