LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Gundersen Health System will begin administering a limited supply of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine again next week.
Federal health officials lifted a 10-day pause on the J&J vaccine Friday after investigating about a dozen reports of rare blood clots.
The vaccine will now include extra labeling.
Gundersen’s vaccine expert says it’s important to keep the numbers in perspective.
There’s been more than 8 million doses of the vaccine successfully administered without any reported problems.
