Limerick companies doing business with Shannon Airport are being urged "to take a really firm stand" following the decision by Aer Lingus to permanently close its cabin crew base there.
The move was announced this week and was met with huge backlash locally and nationally.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin has called on the airline to reconsider and believes the closures shouldn't be happening.
Helen O'Donnell from the Limerick City Business Association says maintaining their business is essential.
