Liimets spoke to India’s Minister of External Affairs to express support for India’s fight against coronavirus

Today 21 May, Foreign Minister Eva-Maria Liimets spoke to the Minister of External Affairs of India Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
Speaking to Minister Jaishankar, Liimets expressed Estonia’s continued support for India as it fights the coronavirus. “India is an important partner for Estonia and naturally, we are very concerned about the difficult situation caused by the spread of the virus there. The coronavirus crisis knows no borders and the difficulties of one country directly affect all others, which is why we must work together to defeat the crisis,” the foreign minister said.
