(WXYZ) — President Abraham Lincoln died on April 15, 1865, just one day after being shot inside Ford's Theater in Washington D.C. For any history fan or Lincoln fan, there are several major Lincoln artifacts right here in metro Detroit.
They're all at The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn. The largest and most important artifact on display at the museum is the rocking chair Lincoln was sitting in when he was assassinated.
