LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Libertyville High School in Libertyville has been named one of the best high schools in the United States, according to a new ranking by U.S. News and World Report.
This year's list ranks more than 17,800 public high schools throughout the country.
Among those schools, Libertyville High, a District 128 high school, was ranked 234 in the U.S. and eighth among Illinois schools. Vernon Hills High School, which is also in District 128, was ranked 277 in the U.S. and 11 in Illinois.
