Liberia: Traditional Leaders Lead the Peaceful Removal of Illegal Gold Miners from Sapo National Park

SINOE COUNTY — On the 14th of June 2023, Sapo National Park (SNP) was declared free of illegal mining activities after an extensive field verification mission by the Forestry Development Authority (FDA) and representatives of SNP Fringe Communities.
