Letters to the editor: ERCOT and Oncor, Sen. Ted Cruz, Texas leaders, Rockwall warming place
Readers demand reliable energy, defend Sen. Cruz for his trip to Cancun, criticize Texas leaders for their focus on business and not residents and praise the Rockwall warming place.

Re: “Did electric bargain leave us in the cold?” by Mitchell Schnurman, Sunday Business column.
My take on this column is neither the grid nor the unregulated electricity market were responsible for the blackouts; it was almost solely the weather. No need to winterize anything since it was a rare event and it will cost too much to efficiently address the issue. The grid and the unregulated market are the envy of the nation and should be left alone.
