Sean McCoy and I served on the Planning and Zoning Commission in the 1990s. He was bright, thoughtful and independent. He did his homework and could explain the reasons for a vote. Unlike his newcomer opponents, Sean has served on many advisory boards and commissions over the last 25 years. He was a City Council member from 2007 to 2011, and the voters elected him again in 2022. Sean listens to Longmont voices and follows through on promises. He is not a single-issue candidate, and he is not in anyone’s pocket.
