INVITING CONFLICT
Those in favour of lockdowns and mask mandates have been misled by the mainstream media and politicians into believing that their opinion is part of a supermajority. Compliance levels should not be mistaken with broad acceptance. For each person that attends a lockdown protest there are tens of thousands that stand with them in spirit. Nobody can define what freedom means to somebody else; our Charter serves this function (even in a perceived emergency). Bankrupting thousands of small businesses is neither reasonable nor a temporary restriction on rights. The smug and arrogant shame campaigns and name-calling has not changed minds. Keep denying the opposition a seat at the debate table and learn the hard way that a society that no longer has tolerance for rational dissent is a society destined for civil conflict.
